A Little Bit of Country

I have to admit that this layout was really out of the box for me for a couple of reasons. First off I hardly ever scrapbook about myself. I never like my pictures and I don't know what to journal. Second, I used a lot of diecutting on this page-something I'm still getting used to. I had my cricut for months before I started really using and enjoying it. All in all though I'm really pleased with the way this turned out. Being a country girl through and through all of these 3birds products worked out perfectly for me! I started out with patterned paper from the Straight From the Nest pack (I love the clouds!) I then used 3birds tweet trimmings for the adorable banner across the top. To make it appear like a clothes line I used cricut images of clothing. I added some dimension with cardboard, felt, and denim to make it feel more country and tada! Hope you like it!

Sweet Baby Boy

I love how soft 3Birds products can be. I decided to use some of the gorgeous die cut pp to make a baby LO about my DS when he was just a few days old. Keeping things somewhat muted and monotone, with some beige thrown in, really helps create a soft, delicate look.

Supplies:
- All Dressed Up Die Cut Lace Paper
- Tweet Trimmings
- Must Have Cardstock

Peek A Boo!

I have a quick and simple LO to share today, using a fun sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. Sometimes using a sketch is the best way to get yourself going and scrapping fast. There are many blogs and sites out there that have plenty of different challenges as well as sketches available for free. And I'm happy to say that this LO was picked as a Sketchy Thursdays Fav! :)

Spring Type Layers

Ahhhhh.....Spring is in the air! Daylight is longer, trees and flowers are starting to bloom and it's time to get those cute sandals!

Even in Spring time though you can still layer. Layer on your projects that is! Here is a layout I did that layers several layers from the Garden of Flowers Kit.

I love how many sizes and colors are given to give you endless layering options! To hold all of my flower layers together I used Premium Craft Glue by Helmar Adhesives. I definitely know they will not fall apart!

Other products I used for this project are:
Super Sticker Nestibles
Must Have Cardstock Basics
3D Embellishment Kit

A Touch of the Irish!

My daughter loves to dress up for the holidays, and St. Patrick's Day is no exception. This year she had an adorable t-shirt & necklace to wear. After getting her to pose for these cute photos I turned to 3birds products to make the perfect layout. I instantly knew that I wanted to use the chipboard shamrock/saying from "Sticky Sparkly Play on Words", andI used stitching to make a nice green border. The rest of the layout just came together after that! I love the touches of pink with the green, and hope that you do too!

Supply list:
patterned paper-3birds focus on photos & straight from the nest
clover rubons-3birds overstuffed paper kit
assorted buttons
tiny alphas-making memories
chipboard title-3birds sticky sparkly play on words (I just cut the end off so that it stopped at the
shamrock)

A Flowery LO

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a fun LO where I got to make some lollipop flowers out of the fun paper in the Focus on Photos paper stack. The pp is covered in these pretty circles of varying sizes, so I cut them out and stacked them to make the flowers, securing with a brad in the center. Don't forget to scrunch them up a little and fold upwards to give them some dimension. This is a picture form Thanksgiving back from 2004, and I finally got to scrap it!

Supplies:
Background pp - Straight From The Nest paper stack
Paper to make flowers - Focus on Photos paper stack
Cloth leaves - Garden of Flowers
Die-Cut Fence - Tweet Trimmings
Large Circle sticker - Flocked Sticker Nestables
Letter and number stickers - Overstuffed kit
Wood Bird - Overstuffed kit
Gingerbread and "Family Time" dimensional stickers - 3D Embellishment Kit
