My Card Stash!

Hi everyone! I thought I would share one of my back to school ideas with you. Every year as soon as school starts I make several birthday cards to keep in my stash. I try and make a couple boy cards and a couple of girl cards in preparation for the upcoming birthday parties that my daughter will be attending for classmates. With all of the great 3birds products available this was so quick and easy for me this year. Here is a cute boy card I made using the adorable 3birds 3-D embellishment kit stickers (this little monster was just perfect for a little boy) and a girl card with lots of bling from the 3birds bling goodie box and flowers from the 3birds Perfectly Pretty Petals. I just need to make a couple more and I will be all ready for the upcoming birthdays!

I just can't get enough...

Of the Super Sticker Nestables!! I am sooo in love with these. I especially love the large pack with the circles, squares, etc. For this LO, I used the half-circle sticker. It's so easy! Who needs all those circle-cutting tools they sell, when you can just use these. You get so many since you can take them all apart. I keep using them and I've still barely made a dent. You can dress up your stickers with some stickles, like I did here for emphasis and dimension. I also used two of the borders here. Again, SO easy. Usually, you would have to sit there and use a border punch, but with the stickers, you just peel and place on your LO and all done :) And if you look closely, I also used some photo corners.

I also LOVE the new Bright cardstock. I had to restrain myself - I almost went through all my turquoise in one day! They're so perfect as mats for photos because they're so bright, they make your photo pop against any background. Love, love, love! Here, I also used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch to make bright happy butterflies out of the new cardstock. So pretty.

The little chipboard saying "sometimes I'm so sweet even I can't stand it" is adhered with 3D foam dots. Even though the chipboard comes with adhesive on the back, you don't have to use it - you can still add foam dots to give it a little dimension.

Supplies:

Cardstock: Must Have Brights Cardstock
Stickers: Super Sticker Nestables
Chipboard: Sticky Sparkly Vs. 5 Play on Words
Swirls (red): Paper Trails

    3Birds on Parade!

For those who have been waiting....you can order the cartridge from the link below!

    Wednesday's Whim!

On a whim the other morning I decided to make an altered frame for my daughter's room. She had just been telling me that she wanted a picture of her best kitty friend to put up in her room. I simply took a plain wooden frame and adhered 3birds patterned paper to it and then added some crocheted ribbon trim to the inside edges. I then added some adorable 3birds embellies and in no time her custom one of a kind frame was finished! She just loves it!

When I realized I was in need of some quick and easy cards, I knew I just had to give it a go. Maybe you're not much of a card maker either, but you love to give handmade cards, since it makes the gesture that much more meaningful. If so, I hope my cards can show you just how easy making a card with 3Birds products can be. In fact, if you have cardstock, the 3D Embellishment Kit, and the Super Sticker Nestables, you're pretty much all set! My daughter is at an age where she goes to a lot of birthday parties, so I wanted to put together some fun, bright birthday cards that would be great for kids.
