card share

I don't know about you, but we have been so busy this summer. I wanted to just get into my craft room and play this week. I have so many things running through my mind lately as you will see from the variety of my two cards :) My friends had a baby shower for me this week. It color scheme was lavender, which totally inspired this card.

I used cardstock from the Must Have Cardstock Set Pastels. I embossed the lavender cardstock and punched out the circles from the green. I added the flowers from the Perfectly Pretty Petals purple flower set and used one of the green Perfectly Pretty Petal set for the leaves. I just cut it into quarters for the perfect leaves. I added a tound of bling from the Bling Goodie Box for a finishing touch.

For my next card, I had Christmas on my mind. With soon to be 11 children I can't just leave Christmas shopping for the last minute. So I have been thinking about what to buy this year. Which is my inspiration for my next card.

I used cardstock from the Must Have Cardstock Stack. I just loved this snowflake paper from the Opposites Attrack Winter Addition, along with die cut. I punched out snowflakes from more of the Must Have Cardstock and punched the scallops. I added a little bling from the Bling Goodie Box.

sweet baby layout

Hi, Heather here again. This week my project is a layout of my youngest (for the next 7 weeks at least :))
I love to use lots of pictures on my layouts but don't always know how to place them on the paper. So one of my favorite things to do is a photo collage, using my photo editing program. A great way to be able to tell the whole story using all these great pictures we take.

I used 3 sheets of cardstock from the Must Have Cardstock Stack Pastels. I used the backside of a yellow sheet to get the white. I trimmed the white to 11x11 and layered it over the pink 12x12 cardstock. I cut the pink polka dots from a sheet from the Focus on Photos paper stack. For the butterflies, I punched shapes from the Straight From the Nest 12x12 Adhesive & Cardstock Paper Stack. I wanted them to have dimension so I just left the backing on and stapled them to my layout. The sweet little title sticker is from the OverStuffed Craft Kit.

Design Team inspiration

Hello all! This is Heather. Today I have a couple of cards to show you using the great products from 3 Birds Design. First up is a birthday card.

I used 3 colors of cardstock from the Must Have Basic Cardstock Stack. The white is just the backside of the brown :) I embossed the white background and one of the candles to add some interest.
Next I wanted to use the scraps from the first card to make another card.

I added the baby blue color from the Must Have Pastel Cardstock Stack and the Orange scallops from the Must have Bits & Pieces cardstock Diecuts and Shapes. I drew the kite shape on the back of the cardstock and cut it out.
